Im getting a CQC8 soon. I ordered and cant wait for it to get here. I dunno what to expect. I hope I like it. I never spent 150 on a knife before so im kinda nervous.

Ill post pix and let you guys know what I think when I get it.
 
Give it a chance and let it break in a little before you make a judgment.
The 8 is on my short list of wants.

The 8 is a fine Emerson indeed, so fine I have 2 of them :p

I wish they had kept the swedge on the waved ones though :(.

I have two Emersons coming later in the week. The CQC-8 is not one of them.
It is on the want list though. Love the design of the 8!
 
You'll love it. Be prepared to acquire more Emersons because they are on the list of knives that a very addictive.. Enjoy
 
I just got it. I dont have a lot of time right now but so far im pretty happy with it. Ill post pix later.
