It is awesome, its by far my favorite knife. Im going to be getting a CQC-8 soon.

I was unconvinced about the 10 for 2 years, then I got one a month ago. WOW , the ergos on this is just amazing. It's not the most appeasing to the eye. But this is THE example of EKI philosophy-- Form follows Function.

I really like the hows its all fuction no flash. i think thats what draws me to the knives.

Nice. I finally got my hands on a 2011 CQC-7B plain edge stonewash non-wave. Stonewash finish is nice, the grinds are absolutely perfect!

Nice knife, yeah l love the grinds on mine

The 10 is an amazing knife, not at all flashy and all business, I've got some serious use out of mine and it has held up admirably except for two very small chips on the belly that it suffered very recently, my own damned fault for letting someone with no idea about knives use it, I'm afraid.

That's the one i've been looking for coated black with the teeth nice score.

I bought a CQC-7 from a buddy about 2 years ago and it's been a daily carry since. It's been everywhere from a dive in saltwater to cutting vines and small trees during storm damage cleanup, and that's in addition to daily use at work cutting wiring, cardboard, apples for the horses, and whatever else I can find. It's been great and holds an edge great. It's my first and will not be my last.

so after a 2 weeks of edc with the 10 i still love it, however i cant stand the partially serrated blade. i have never been a big fan of them anyway.so im getting rid of this one. but im sure that i will be getting another emerson in plain edge

The CQC-10 has possibly the best ergonomics of any knife that I own and I am more than pleased with it. Let us see a pic of your PE CQC-10 when you get it.

Congrats on your choice and good fortune for an excellent trade. I always preferred a plain over a partially serrated blade. Lately I've been giving the partially serrated blades more respect. Cutting zip ties and the like is way easier using serrations. I've found them useful for saving the plain edge for serious business.
