My first ESEE

I posted in the general forum that I was waiting on my first ESEE-4. I just got it yesterday, and I am in love. This knife is awesome. I can't wait to take it out into the woods. I think this is the start of another addiction. :D Don't have a camera, so no pics.
 
Welcome to the addiction. :D

I started with a DT Izula not too long ago. It was lonely, so it got company in the collection from an RC-3MIL, RC-4DT, RC-6, and Junglas. An RC-3DT and OD Izula are on order to add to the family. They're like Lay's potato chips, can't have just one...

All being well I should be adding the 4 to my fledgling collection next week, ahead of a trip to the pyrenees coming up soon.

I tightened the sheath up when I got it. Will there be any noticeable wear on the handle where it squeezes into the sheath?
 
Welcome. Oh Oh.!! Now you are Hooked just liked the rest of us. Once you have one in your hand..it starts....then..you use it... then... whatever you just did, it will most likely..Still shave...Then thats it. You will Want MORE!!! It happens? Enjoy edgy :thumbup:
 
Congratulations on your purchase. I think the reason you have not gotten one earlier is that they tend to fly under the radar. They get overlooked because they are 1095 steel and not the sexy new super steel of the month. Then everyone that tries one falls in love with them. I am trying to create situations or scenarios so the wife will not freak out on me if I get another one.
