I recieved my RC-6 from knivesshipfree.com yesterday. Got it in two days, although, we are in the same state. Anyway, I immediatly took it out back to experiment on some downed tree limbs from a heck of a storm we had earlier in the week. Afterwards took it fishing with me ,where it dispatched a snapping turtle I caught. I'm impressed and very pleased with my purchase. Unlike some brands it came with a very nice factory edge. I like the sheath alot and the fit and finish are very good too. I'm already planning my next one. The problem will be narrowing it down to which one. I'd like to have a Junglas, a RC-4 and an Izula or three. Great forum you have here. I've been lurking/researching for a while. Now, what can I chop today?

Appreciate you being here and for buying our knives.

Congrats and Welcome!

It's good to hear that you are out there and actually using your knives!

As for your next knife, I think the Izula would make a nice companion to your ESEE-6.

Thanks. Yeah, I'm thinking an Izula. My B- day is coming up may have to drop some hints. Then I'll buy a Junglas on the down low hehehe.

Congrats on the 6,one of my favorite blades. You can't go wrong with an Izula as your next purchase,as it will probably get the most carry time.Drop it in your right front pants pocket and forget about it,it's that light(and thin).

good to have you here!RC-6 one heck of a knife,on your deciding next ones ESEE3MIL & Junglas unstoppable.

I really liked the way you tested your knife man!!! congratulations on your buy... you won't regret it... actually you'll regret not having the other knives :D :D :D

After a month or so after buying the RC6, i went ahead and bought an RC3... very nice companion to the RC6...

Congrats again!!!

izula. i bought an RC-6 my first esee/rat 3 weeks ago and i loved it so much that last week i had to order an izula. i put the scales on it and i gota say that im just loving it. great pair

Congrats on your new ESEE 6 and welcome to the forum! Trying to figure out which ESEE blade to buy next is always an agonizing experience, in the end it won't matter because you'll end up owning them all. :)

Thanks to all for the replies. I've been lurking/ researching different knives on different forums for a while. I think this is about the most active and interesting group I've come across. An Izula looks like a good canidate for my next knife. Most things I do with knives could be done with a much smaller one. I just like a big blade from time to time.

I just got one myself from one of the suppliers in BC. Great for hikes and it battoned through 4x4 fence posts like they were nothing (it just didn't feel right having it look new :p ).
