My first file knife and sheath

This is my first file knife and sheath.
The blade is 3/6'', thick 1/4'' wide.4-3/4''long. the knife 9-3/8''overall.tempered two times @ 490 degrees.

The sheath was submerged in melted beeswax. it made it hard almost like plastic now my knife snaps right in place.

I don't know? i have had it lying around the basement for years, it's very hard. (cocobolo ?)
