Hi,
My name is Brad Goodman. I have built aprox. 20 knives, mostly hunters and kitchen. I am mostly a Luthier-you can see my guitars at (removed web link) .

I have wanted to build a folder for a long time (35 years) so I finally did!

I have been "lurking" on this forum for a couple of years and really enjoy it.

Anyway, here is the knife... It is a lock back modeled after a knife by George Herron from the book Knifemaking by Sid Latham

1/8" thick CPM-154 blade and lock bar, 304 liners and dovetailed bolsters and snakewood scales. The blade is flat ground with a polished finish and has a bronze bushing.

Nice knife, and nice guitars, I like the Midnight Special & the Koa triple O, but particularly the Midnight Special.

That 000 is a beauty. I play a martin 000-18. Love that size guitar.

The knife is nice too.

Typical of a Luthier perfect fit and finish best materials superb construction I love it.
You also Create some beautiful guitars my friend thanks for sharing!

Very nice! Don't wait so long to make the next one!

Mark

BTW....Nice guitars, but they have too many strings, more that four confuses me.

You have an obvious talent that lends itself to knife making. Would love to see you continue in the field, as this is a very worthwhile first effort.

Thanks for all the kind words.

I noticed my website was deleted-Sorry, I guess it was against the rules.

Welcome! Making instruments and knives; sounds about like a perfect career. :)

I have a "day job" as a Building Inspector. I have tried at times to make a living at my craft, but prefer to just do it as a "professional hobby".

Regards,
Brad
