My first forged knife

Hi...my name is Daniel D. Jobim and I'm from Brazil. I live in Nova petrópolis, city in wicht also lives Luciano Dorneles and Rodrigo Sfreddo. Well, as a friend of them, I started to do smoe work myself. and here are some pics of my first work.

handle made of Bazilian rosewood
guard in stainless steel.

Those photos don't give a good idea of what the knife looks like. It seems to be pretty nice, but it is hard to tell.
 
Now there you go. That photo does a much better job of showing off the knife, and as I thought, it looks to be very well made.
 
I really like the handle shape and material.

The contours of the handle look like they would fit very comfortably in one's grip.

Really nice, especially since you're such a beginner. Congrats and keep it up!
