My first frame lock

My first real frame lock
74gramme
Closed 12cm
Open 20 cm
Blade 2,8mm thick (1.2767), usefull 8 cm, long 12 cm queue to the point
Thickness 7 mm, 1,2 mm to the screw

Cut with the dremel (the motor don't like the treatment :))

My only problem is that the blade is not straight...... I straighten it after the tempering but not enough.

Without the screw the thickness would have been great. But i'm thinking to change the sxrew as soon as i find some.

I will change a little the finger position in order to have a better grip.

I finally give a try to make wood plate (unknown wood :)).

I changed the little piece where hit the bottom of the blade (it was in brass and i made one in steel).

The grip is good.
That is another test on that frame lock. I find the esthetism of the whole thing good.. The thickness and the wood touch is great under the hand.
There are a lot of thing to improve on the next one, but that one is my first frame lock functinnal :). ANd that is something for me :).
