I just received my first friction folder in the mail today and it happens to be my first Curtiss Knife as well.

and a picture to compare its size to my normal edc blades.

The folder has a 154CM stonewashed blade and has perfect centering when closed. The handles are two titanium pieces that have a gritty rough texture to it for excellent grip and hold. Its a very nice gentlemanly folder for light cutting tasks and cannot wait to get into more higher end made knives.

on a side note, it was a little smaller than I thought it would be, but it goes right into my pocket and I cannot tell its there

Thats a nice knife you got there!

I can't wait to get my custom knife from curtiss, he makes great stuff!

Well I need to chime in. I built a few of these a while back. In the process, I failed to mention that the hole that lines up in the frames and the tang of the blade is a Mike Snody design feature. While failing to mention this feature, I decided it was best to not build these knives. So I recalled the knives. Only 1 dealer had any. I guess you got this from them and I missed it. I will not be building these again. If you plan to keep the knife, that is fine. Just make sure to recognize the Mike Snody design feature. If you want to return the knife to me, I will replace it with another knife of greater value. You can contact me via email. Thanks, David.
