Nice Job Kris! The #73 looks great. Let us know your impressions down the road. It's a pattern I am contemplating.....along with about 10 others ...:rolleyes:

Congrats on your first GEC. Very nice stag on that one. I just picked up the same pattern on the secondary market and am really impressed. It has been my primary since it arrived earlier this week.
 
I just got a #73 two blade in ebony, it's my first GEC as well. I couldn't be happier, it's a fantastic pattern. Welcome to the club, your gonna want another one in about two days... lol
 
My first GEC was also a 73 (as were most others i'm sure) and as much as I love it, it pails in comparison to yours. You are off on the right foot, sir!
 
I've had a lot of #73 trappers over the last 4 years, but the only one I still have is my stag linerlock, like yours. Good choice!
 
73 was my first GEC as well. It looks great, hope it sees plenty of use as the 73's beg for it!
 
Wow! You've put the bar pretty high for your first GEC! Beautiful choice.
 
You're off to a good start. My first GEC was an ebony two-blade 73. The 73 is my favorite GEC.
