My first GEC

I just ordered a 66 stockman with green jigged bone. I had to find out what everyone raved about. I hope I love it as much as everyone else.
 
Nice choice! The 66 is a great pattern, I'm sure you'll be very happy with that one!
 
Can't go wrong with a GEC. I hope you enjoy it and welcome to traditionals! I was really only into Case knives when I first came here and heard tons about this GEC brand and finally tried one myself and now own quite a few. Great knives.
 
Sounds like you picked a nice first GEC. I like stockman's in general and 3 1/2" stockman's in particular so the 66 is right up my alley. I'm also a big fan of GEC's spring green jigged bone.

It is a great pattern. I think you'll find it to exceed your expectations. Be sure to post some pics when it arrives.
 
Well it finally got here. I've been watching the shipping tracker all week. I've had it for about an hour and I have to say I'm impressed so far. It didn't come sharp so I had to take care of that first which was easy to do.
 
Sorry, I've never posted pictures and not totally sure how. Mine looks like the one above. This most likely won't be my last GEC.
 
Im kind of new to G.E.C.
and after I bought my first one I was hooked.13 G.E.C.s later im still looking for more.
Excellent Knives.
