My first go at making brushes

I ordered a few badger hair knots last week and wanted to give it a go making brushes. I used my metal lathe to turn these. Used a CA finish after sanding. First time turning wood. One is for my Dads 80th birthday next week. Thanks for looking. Rich

Those are nice... but if it's a metal lathe, why not make some metal brushes? I'd love one in Mokume.

Oh... that would be good too. I think these first few in wood show that you've got the basic plan down.

Great looking brushes! Like the wood choice especially on the beautiful grain on the 1st one and the finish is amazing.
