My first go at mirror polishing a blade. Thoughts?

Hey guys I took a beater pack rat I had laying around the other night and started putting a mirror finish on it. Tonight I finished it off and thought I would bring it before the council . So what are your thoughts. I dont have a picture camera so I just did a quick 45 second video on it if you dont mind taking a look.

That is really a glass mirror-- right? Nice job. I don't know if I would use it. Dam that first scratch.
