My PM2 was waiting for me in the mailbox when I got home. I'm so glad I took the forum's advice and made this my first USA-made Spyderco. This thing is just SICK. Beautifully smooth and solid action, the perfect balance between (light)weight and rigidity, and top-notch fit and finish (the DLC on this blade is just phenomenal). Anyway, thanks for the recommendation. Here it is:

The ParaMilitary 2 is the best knife on the market all around (Performance vs. cost) in my opinion. You can never go wrong with a PM2, and once you have one you understand why they're so frequently sold out from retailers.
 
Nice combo! I recommend either the Manix 2 or Manix 2 xl for your next one. You won't regret either purchase. Anyways, enjoy the Paramilitary!
