As I posted earlier I was fortunate to get a 5.1 on a Monday sale. It came in just in time to take to my property. It's a big knife but no doubts it's a high quality knife. I like everything about it.

So cool! What did you say the handle is? That is such a badass looking pair you have!

I do enjoy new threads on these knives!

Black canvas with coyote sheath. I have a couple more pix I'll upload tomorrow. Thanks for the compliment SN!

Thats a sweet combo. When I carry a sidearm and a knife, basically everyday, I carry the knife on my left and the pistol on my right. So I tend to buy left handed leather sheathes. Its funny, because I am left handed for writing, fighting and eating, but throw and shoot righty, because I am right eye dominant.

Haha that works out perfectly then, I'm right side dominant for everything... Trying to carry more than one item on the same side sucks!

Me too. I like my knives to be cross draw though. Easier in out of the utv

Awesome! Man I love that combo. I've owned a bunch of 1911s over the years, and still have a Wilson, and a few customs, but the one that has always eluded me is a Delta. I've wanted one for 20 years. Who did the work on yours?

Junkyard

Novak serrated the top of the slide and added the sights and Colt custom shop did the rest.
I've had a few higher end 1911's and still have a Les Baer(I want to sell this one) but I keep coming back to Colts

^^^Yes!!!!! Now that looks like a weekend well spent to me. Livin' the dream, man!

Thanks for the pics.

Broke in my 5.1 today. Love it

Though I did roll it over in one spot. I'll take it to a diamond later

Not a big deal. Few passes on coarse and fine diamond and a few minutes on each side of the strop the Knick is gone and so is the little bit of hair I had left on my arm

Think I hit a nail in something batoning cause I scratched the finish and that right where the knick was. It did go through a 4x4. I was shocked. First knife I've had that I wasn't worried about hurting or breaking.
