NICE! THE American autoloader! It was my first shotgun too. Made in 1976, It was my Grandpa's, my dad's, now mine. It is a kick A skeet gun. Congrats dude. Take care of it and it could be your grandkid's gun one day :)

With My .22, .17HMR and KA-BAR

I did do some skeet shooting today, I think it is going to end up being my dedicated clay gun. it is for 2 3/4 only and it points extremely well.

Wait what forum is this?! ;)

I have a Mossberg 500 with 18" barrel, mag extension, and heat guard. I bought it used and haven't done anything to it myself. It's a lot of fun to shoot though!

That gun can do everything you'll ever need. From self-defense to deer to trap. Congrats. And I'll echo the encouragement to keep it in top shape--it will mean the world to your grandkid one day. My son has my Dad's old Remington Nylon 66--remember those?

Shes a beauty, details ?

Rem 700 LA trued and squared = 30-06 caliber

Custom spiral fluted bolt w/ bolt knob

Oversized recoil lug

Rock Creek Barrel = #4 contour, 1-11.25 twist, finished at 24"

HS Precision Stock, 14" LOP, pillar/skim bedded, GAP camo

Old style Rem 700 trigger adjusted to 3 pounds & BDL bottom metal

I used Marine Tex to texture the stock before I painted the Durocoat.

Nightforce NXS 3.5-15 X 50 scope w/ NPR-R2 reticle

You got yourself one heck of a gun man. I am not a semi-auto guy but their popularity speaks for itself.

Happy hunting.

Nice setup.

What butt stock ammo holder is that? Looking for something like that for my TC PH.

Thanks,
D

It's a Tac Ops stock pack. I went back and forth between Tac Ops or Eagle however I went with Tac Ops because it carried more rounds.

Wow, what a coincidence. I also have a Nylon 66 that is 3rd generation. (well, not mine yet, but my dad will let me take it some day :))

Yes, I do. I have my own, which is 22 years and counting now.

I've been sort of in the market for a used Wingmaster 1100 myself, 1960's t0 1972 or so. An 18-inch barrel and a 28-inch barrel will handle about all you'll ever want it to.
