Hi everyone,

Well, eventually I had to try it, so here it is:

Steel: w1 from Mcmaster Carr
OAL: 10 5/8"
Blade length: 5 7/8"
Handle: Black Micarta milled out with wood insert in which I cannot recall the name.

It is really light and fast in the hand. This is a sweet slicer!

So I snapped the pictures in my shop, so aside from the crappy pics and the dust, what do ya'll think?

Wow, first Harmon and no complaints, every other time I've seen a first Hamon post it's someone asking for help every step of the way. And I like the micarta bolster!

That is a great first for a hammon, especially trying to get it to show, and taking a picture that actually shows it.

Thanks guys,

This was actually supposed to be a two blade set, but the other one cracked during heat treat.
