My first hamon!

I have always wanted to do a hamon and finally decided to give it a shot. I wanted a dark pronounced line which I achieved. I really had no idea what I was doing so it didnt turn out as whispy as I would have liked. I need to figure out how to thin out the fingers on my next one.

sweet! the curves in the hamon reference the curves in the handle nicely.
did you edge-quench or use clay? (or something else?)

I´m by no means an authority on hamons but I think it looks great, especially for this type of knife.
