It's no Skystorm or Sagewood but I hade a good time making it! It's was a lot of fun, I think I'll try some more

I'm open for advise, leather work is something I have always wanted to learn. I don't plan on doing it for resale but just for fun and for my own blades. I ordered a bunch of leather along with a rivet and eyelet setting kit. I also have a few stamps and the tools needed for stitching but I have no clue what I'm doing lol

looks really clean and simple, i like it a lot. Makes me wanna give it a shot. Good stuff bud, thanks for sharing.

I like it, simple and it blends the best of both worlds - leather and kydex. I've been tinkering with my BK2 sheath recently. Until just this week the sheath was bone-stock, but I finally decided to start making some alterations. I removed the nylon web loop and mounted a Tek-Lok. An improvement but this leatherwork that you show here is actually an idea I may try. I like my sheath to ride high on my side and close - no flopping around against my leg, so a low mount is out. Sitting in my truck, sitting in a chair, etc is a pain in the neck if it's too low.

I do plan to order a SageWoodGear sheath in the next few weeks, but I do have plans for the stock sheath too.

Wanna job say around June or July? I could certainly use another pair of paws around here after the move.
