Hi All,

Just wanted to share with everyone the first knives that I made. My only knife making experience before these blades pictured is just practicing grinding on scrap pieces of mild bar stock. This is not a for sale thread and these are not for sale. I made these to give out to family members and because it was fun.

some specs first

Blade material : 1095
overall all length : 6"
Blade length : 3"
Blade thickness : 3/16"
Blade style : pointy and sharp
Thickness : 5/8"
Handle material : red linen micarta
Handle hardware : hardened 6/32 flat head screws and .250" stainless steel threaded handle pins

Very fun to make and I will definitely be making more. I really like this size of fixed blade for EDC and backup camper knife.

Nice knives! Definitely have a unique style to them. Look forward to seeing more of your work. Looks like a great carry knife. Are you going to make a sheath for it?
