Any and all comments are very appreciated.
Sorry for all of the pictures but I am pretty proud of how it turned out- and it will be going to South Korea as a wedding present soon.

i like it, looks like it would cut very good. you should try heat treaing your self some time, thats where the fun comes in.

wow, I like it a lot - the slim profile, the curve to it

I think it's a winner; enjoy it.

That is a very nice blade. I love the simple stuff. Nothing to get hung up on.

That is a very nice working combo. Great job.

Sweet, bro... forged or stock removal? I've never seen swordfish before... is it hard to work with?

Nice flow on that. I think it would be more comfortable if the edges of the scales were rounded a bit (not too much because they're so thin.

Thanks for all of the comments. Now for a few answers.
Mr. Purple- it was 1/8" done stock removal with files, cut out with a dremel.
DL- the scales were rounded a bit but in the hand any more round felt like it would loose grip too much. The scales were very easy to work with though.
J- I used Gorilla Glue to attach the scales and liners- I had some problem with warpage as seen in my thread "Is this common?", but everything seemed to work out in the end.

Once again thanks all for the encouragement on my first knife!!

Congrats on the unveiling of the Swordfish Knife. It was a pleasure for me to see it "live" last week. I hope to hear cutting stories about it at a later time.

Impressive first effort and use of available tools. The presentation plaque is a great idea as well. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice. I hope my first knife makes the grade as yours has. I also like the picture....nicely done. What part of the swordfish is the handle from? The sword? Where did you get it?

In His Service,
Reid Allen

I got the swordfish (it is from the sword) from Rob! at Ranger Original. He is a poster here so you can look him up- I believe he may have some more if anybody was interested.
I am very pleased with the pictures as well as I am by no means a photographer.
