Hello folks.
I just finished my first handmade knife.
It was a long process, but I liked it and I will definitely build more blades in the future :)

Specs:
Length: 17,2cm (about 6 3/4 inches)
Bladelength: 7,2cm (a tad under 3 inches)
Steel: SB1 1/8" in thickness
Hardness: 60 Rockwell (Thanks to Jürgen Schanz )
Grind: Chiselgrind, left side.
Scales: Ghost-Green G10 with black liners
Finish: Stonewash
Pins: Stainless Steel

I added some filework to the spine.

Have to apologize for the bad pics. ;)

Thanks for the warm words everybody!

It has already sliced some stuff in my apartment (still got to get a kydex sheath made for carrying it).
And I have to say, the pizza box didn't stand a chance :D

Cool design. Like the blade and the color! Great first knife keep up the good work!

Thanks everyone!

The steel is some stainless stuff. Juergen Schanz from Germany (http://www.schanz-messer.de/) uses it for almost all of his knifes and even machetes, so I figured "why not try this?"

It sharpens really REALLY slow, seems to be tough stuff. Should hold a good edge.

Best,
Murphys Law.

Really cool knife, especially for a first. Everything about this knife makes me think "rugged" Good job.
