My first hatchet sheath

Well, my Dad likes this little hatchet and wanted me to repair the original sheath and put a new edge on it as well. The original was just too far gone,it was cracking to easily to consider restitching, so I just made up a new one real quick from some scraps. It is an edge sheath and ties under the poll, double stitched at the top and bottom.

Very nice. I have made similar ones for my tomahawk and a camp hatchet.
