My first HI bowie

Got my Cherokee Rose Bowie . I have some HI kukuris , but this is my first HI bowie . 20 inch BIG . I am very happy with it . Anyone know the kami marks on this one ?

I want to say Yuvraj but I can't find anything to confirm that. First I thought Dil but he's a lotus flower.
I know I have a couple by that maker. I can check at home but these guys around here are so sharp and have fully functioning memories they'll have an answer before lunch I suspect.

What was the question again.:D

The devanagari characters don't look similar to the marks on my other Yuvraj knives. Yuvraj uses a candle mark, which originally had a cylinder for the candle and a detailed flame at the top, but more recently has just been a line with a dot at the top. This appears to be an arrow mark - maybe one of the new kamis?

I'm just posting to comment on what a gorgeous blade that is. What a design.....

Dil's Lotus Flower mark sounds very beautiful..
 
Is it Padam? I don't think I've seen his mark. I was gonna guess Hari. I don't think I've seen his mark either, but I know I've seen a bunch of Roses by him.

One way to be 100% sure; email Auntie :)

Whoever made it did a dang fine job if I do say so myself! That one is on my list for sure.

I was so supreised that it was so easy to handle , in spit of the size .
 
Maybe Padam, now the curiosity is chasing my goat around. I need to know.

I don't recall having a Padam but I know I got one or two with that mark on them.
 
My Padam Suga has an arrow. My Yuvraj Special has a candle and my Hari CR has a Trident.

Aahhh rightttt the Trident is Hari. I cruised through my pix and found confirmation of the Padam arrow.

Looks very well balanced and usable... Good chopper, slicer, fighter.... you can tell that Mr. Y had held a knife a time or two.
