Just got a Baby BAS (made by Sgt. Khadka) from Voxhog today. Very cool for a small kukri - love the weight & feel, and I really like the bladework too. Inlays are a nice little touch, and the entire top of the blade has an almost 'faceted' appearance.

My inner Elvis loves with the velvet covered sheath. I didn't know what to think of a kukri with a red velvet covered sheath, but now that I've seen it, it's made really well. The knife fits in the sheath like a glove, no wobble whatsoever.

Voxhog - thanks, much appreciated!

thx - cpr

I've got one of those too. My first HI khuk also, and sadly still my only one. I've used mine on a couple of short hikes and camping trips and it's a great little knife. . . Well, little for a khuk anyway. ;) I'd actually like something just a wee bit bigger . . . There was a Bojpore model a few months back that was 10 1/4 inches overall, but I missed it. Hopefully another one, or something similar will come along sometime when I happen to have the extra money on hand to buy it. I'm not so fond of the sheath myself. One of my next purchases is going to be a kydex sheath making kit from knifekits.com so I can make some new clothes for mine. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I've enjoyed mine.

The BAS is my favorite pattern. My first HI was a 15" BAS with rosewood handle, and I've got what I think is a baby BAS (called a 10.5" Sgt. Khadka Special) with all white metal fittings and horn handle. I love both knives, but the monochrome is really beautiful.

In fact, the only problem...is that I need more!
