My first HI knife has arrived!!!!

After a long day at work, I arrived home and was greeted at the front door by my wife and 2 year old daughter.
My wife handed me a package that said Himalayan Imports, and I tore into it like a kid on Christmas. It was my Chiruwa Ang Khola by Sgt. Khadka, and it was more beautiful than I had hoped or imagined. You really can't appreciate the quality and detail until you hold one in your hand. It is a true work of art, and a menacing one at that. I am so proud to be the owner of this fine piece, and a member of the ever growing family of HI owners. I will cherish it and take the time to appreciate all the hard work that went into making it. My heart felt thanks goes out to Yangdu, Sgt. Khadka, his assistants, and all the members of this great forum who helped me along the way. I am already looking for my next HI gem.

I had a ton of things to do, Im leaving out of town in the morning. I will post pics as soon as I get back on Friday.
 
Just try to refrain from chopping up your furniture in the mean time, CAKs can have weird effects on their new owners... :p ;) :D
 
I found myself walking around the yard thinking, hmmmm.... I never really liked that tree.
 
I hope you get yours soon. I'll be checking the forum when I get back in town on Fri.

So true....I got my first back in December and now own six with a few must-haves on the list.:D

I got jealous with you! I wanna buy some but Vietnam customs refrain me from that!

Your experience reminds me of my first khuk. I kept it in my back-pack everywhere I go. I also keep it in my bed when I sleep. I clean & sharpen it every day,... :) :)
