It looks to me you got the one from Dil Kami.

Thats a real nice Kuk for your first --- I almost bid against you for it but I spent my "HI Allowance" for this week already :p

You know... My first experience with a kukri like object was with the cold steel Rajah II. Ya ya I know cold steel... Anyways I took it to Honduras and it was pretty damn effective at cutting small trees down and chopping coconuts. It is probably the coolest folder ever... But then I was like... This is BS, I want a "real kukri". So I got a "chukuri plus" from EGKH. It is big and scary but it is also really dangerous to use. Ahhh then I held an HI blade! anyways Im stoked! Anyways, thanks DaBird. Good lookin out!

P.S. My EGKH is a american eagle gripper which is bulky but grips well... But I really wanted a traditional handle. Are there grip problems associated with traditional handles?

Your siru has a full peened tang held in place by natural epoxy, a brass butt plate, and a brass keeper peened tight. In short, you'll need a gorilla with 15# sledge hammer to bust the handle off;)

Jay is right. You have a khuk made by Dil, not Bura. Still a very good kami:)
Just an FYI, a lot of times you can get a comparable blade from Yangdu on the deal of the day for about the same amount you paid on ebay. Buying it here through Yangdu ultimately helps the kamis since a large part of the proceeds go directly back to Nepal. Also, a blade bought through HI and not second hand comes with a lifetime warranty.

Nice knuk ya got there:)
