My first hidden tang. pic

This is my first hidden tang knife. The blade is 5160 with my first sucessful guard from bar stock. Handle is Elk. butcap is Polished Linen Micarta. Satin finish.

I think the blade would look better if the grind lines came together, and unless it is the picture the edges of the grind lines could be cleaner, but I very much like the overall lines of this knife. This is my opinion and may not be shared by others. I am also not saying that I do not like your knife, because I do. IMO it could be made even better is all I am trying to say.

I like it!!

One small point... the guard looks overly large... Sorry if i'm being nitpicky, i like it overall, and the blade is nicely shaped. Also the handle!!

It is a hollow grind on this blade.So taking the grind lines together would be difficult. Next one will get a flat grind. Grind lines are pretty good the picture quality is not!
Actually the gaurd just comes exactly even with the handle sides. You are right it could be a little smaller

Now that I see this new picture I have to say that this knife looks much better than I first thought. Very nice.

I agree with what Keith just said. Nice work Bob! The new picture shows the grind lines much better and the slightly smaller guard does look better. Good looking knife!
