for a while i have wanted to buy a benchmade knife but i could never decide which one i wanted. Recently i bought a zt0801 and a zt0770cf-M390 so i didnt really need another folder so soon after buying those awesome knives so i decided its a perfect time to buy myself a nice fixed blade knife, I also wanted to try out s30v steel, ive never used a knife with that steel but i have heard good things so the benchmade 18008-BLK which is part of their "Hunt" series of knives,
well so far i really love this knife, however have only had it for a couple of days so i wont have a true feel for the knife until ive been using it for a couple months. That being said i am very happy with the knife so far, it came with a very nice sharp edge. The finish and overall workmanship is amazing. everything is just very well designed and thought out. for example i had never thought about adding jimping on the spine towards the tip of the knife which allows my index finger a very solid grip when i chock up on the blade in order to make more detailed cuts. I also really like the metal that protrudes through the grip on the spine of the grip to provide better grip, the rubber used in the handle is also very nice and provides a veru comfortable and secure grip
and finally some photots.....I hope there is no such thing as having too many photos

Here are some photos with my two other knife purchases of 2015 my Zero Tolerance 0801 and 0770CF-M390

The angle makes it kinda hard to tell but the ZT0770cf and the 15008-blk are about the same length when open, its only about a 1mm difference between them

Here are some photos of the BM 15008 with some of my other fixed blades
