After my first visit to this sub forum I went to Bussecombat to place an order and they were sold out, so I ordered two hog beads just for kicks, they came in today!

They are actually really nice, I don't know what they're made of, it is metal, but I don't know if they are brass.

Anyway, I thought I would make a lanyard for my new toy, so here it is; the other is sitting there for detail. I was bored.

What do you guys think?

It looks like a CRK lanyard because it is the same braid. Maybe it needs to be longer. I think it looks okay, but it might be impractical during use, I don't know. I'm just trying to have some fun. Any ideas?

One idea that came to mind when looking at your setup is if you placed the lanyard on the front hole and then make it long enough to attach to the top hole via a hook or something, then it would serve as a tactical strap for you hand while at the same time act like a little bling. Any thoughts of receiving these in the handle. It might add some pop to the knife. Just some thoughts but I love it the way it is too.

Or maybe you can quickly machine out or forge out like a brass knuckle cover with some rubber embedded on the inside to allow for cushion when going tactical. Simply tapping there holes will allow for easy on and off application. Instead of rubber, you could also use the same material as the handle to keep it simple.

Those are very good looking! Nice score!

Thanks guys, Yeah, I like them a lot, I have ordered another 2 for the next knives that are eventually coming. And thanks for the suggestions. Oink Oink!!
We should have an emoticon that looks like a hog, that way I don't have to type Oink Oink.:)
