Except for the line missing on the bottom of your mark, I can't find a thing wrong with that.

You are getting good fast.

See... Totally could have been done on time for the Kith hehe.. excellent job, looks great.

Hey! I'm a Mason too!

My mark is drastically different than yours so we're good...lol

The line is there, but being that the mark has no black in it. It kind of looks like blends into the blade because of my cheap point and shoot camera and my homemade light box:o

I just finished yesterday, and that one was sold as soon as I did the file work on it. Next is the damascus blade that is going to my brother, and another attempt at a Bowie that I am giving to a friend that has been doing some machine work for me.
After that I have an order for another EDC, and a bushcraft knife for a friend. I really need to get that grinder up and running:o

Good looking knife.
I think you can take the "Wannabe" off of your user name now.

I still don't think I am at that point yet, maybe after another 50-100 knives I might think of myself as a true knifemaker.

When I was working on coming up with a makers mark I noticed that there were a few Masons that made knives. There was a George, and a Stanley so those took both of my names, but I didn't find any SG Masons so I went with that. All of the Mason Knife makers I found were based in the United States so the maple leaf kind of points to me up here:p

My mark looks like a death metal band's logo or something....lol. It's really sharp, swoopy and gothic.

It's supposed to say J. Mason (replace the dot with a star between the J and M) but it looks more like IMAgON

Like I said in another post, you are moving quick... even with the hiatus due to surgery! Looks great!

Looking good Unky:thumbup: Handle turned out very nice and I like the logo you settled on a lot!

Thanks, I like how it fit on the Damascus blade too. There is a reason I was asking for advise when I was working out a design, I trust the opinions of people here:thumbup: Now I just need to make a real etcher so I can stop using the battery charger:p.
