I finally joined the Izula bite club. :)

I was wearing my Izula horizontally on my belt, weak-side. I usually un-sheath the knife with one hand, but this time used my left hand to hold the sheath (not sure why :o ). Unfortunately, I did not notice that my index finger was forward of the sheath, and when I slid the knife out, it slide right over my finger! Ouch! Anyway, official member now! :D

Yeah she bit you, those little suckers like to do that every now and then, but like you said you joined the Bite Club...

I will probably get mocked for saying this but imagine wearing a neck around the knife and.....

Anyhow, back to the conversation. I have never worn a knife in any fashion other than in the normal vertical fashion off my belt. Has this form of hand cutting ever happened to those drawing a knife in the normal "missionary technique"?

just cut my middle finger wrapping my izula after posting on this thread ( it flew out of the sheath, but i did duct tape the blade after fixing my self up to finish it )... weird. I also used duct tape to wrap around the wound lol.

Nice one ;)

Welcome to the club, I've been bitten by mine too, they are sharp little buggers.

I have to agree with JUST1MOR for cricket as a poster-child :D

Never been bitten by an actual bullet ant, but I believe they did give the Izula knife an appropriate name.

We need a cricketdave's "how to wrap your Izula really tight" sticky with advice on how to pick a good neurologist. :D

Daves izula bit him prety damn bad. To the bone...on 2 fingers.
I'm not sure where the pics are. I saw them on facebook
