Most of my knives are Spyderco. The quality and price just can't be beat (or so I thought). I bought two blems from Kershawguy, a composite Leek and composite Junkyard Dog 2 and I'm amazed at the quality and feel of the knives!
The JYD lock is super smooth and it just flies open. The g-10 seems finer than on my Spydie's, which I kind of like.
The Leek is super light. My previous acquisition, before these two was a Ti-Lite 6, so getting used to how small and light this is is kind of weird. I like that I forget it's there and it's small enough to use around Sheeple.

I love the look of the composite blades, they're super cool.
Anyway, back to my original point, these knives rival Spyderco in both craftsmanship and price. These knives are the first Kershaws of many for me :)

Get ahold of a benchmade and you will be saying the same thing. All favorites aside, its good to see you expanding your collection

I want a Benchmade, but they're so expensive. My knives average around the $50 range, so spending $200 is a big deal. For that money, I could get a cool Spyderco Military or PM2.
When I get a bunch of extra spending money, I'll start expanding into Benchmade, Emerson, Zero Tolerance, and CRK.

Welcome! Glad to hear you like them after being with spydercos for so long. Keep your eyes open on Dave's site and you will find lots of cool pieces for great prices!

Just FYI. You can get a mini grip for $60........Anywho, you should get a Blur :D To me the blur series has personality that no other knife has. They love to take a licking, and continue working. But KAI is a wonderful company, and you'll be pleased with most of their offerings.

You pick a a great knife, the jyd2 cb was my first kershaw also. Did you know the made one with a ti frame lock, laminated super gold 2 steel blade... it looks so clean Flipper only. Very ergonomic.
