Kershaw Storm II from Walmart (at least it says USA on the blade). This is my first Kershaw and I am impressed. Planning on using it as a heavy duty work knife. I don't normally carry knives of this size, but it's not very heavy at all and the textures are in all the right places. What attracted me most was how slim this knife is. With it being less than half serrated is good too. The knife is an overall great design for $30. I am currently on the look out for another Kershaw. I'm really just looking for knives that can get the s*@# beat out of them at work and keep comming back for more. Recommendations? I have my eye on the Skyline. Could this be the beginning of another knife addiction?;)

Having fun with the photo editor.

The Storm II is a helluva bargain! Go ahead and beat the snot outta it...it can take it!

If you want a heads up on another tuff-assed Kershaw, take a look at the Lahar. Big, G-10 clad, dual stainless liners around a VG10 blade. Around $ 55...its a bargain!

It could be the beginning of an addiction:eek:. Where else can you get these kinds of quality knives, made in the US and at these prices. Keep looking at the Kershaws. I'd be willing to wager that there will be at last one or 2 that will meet your criteria.

CB JYDII - I'm not sure you could destroy it if you wanted to...I have sharpened mine about 4 times now, and it kinda scares me how sharp it is... and Ive got a whole lotta REAL sharp knives.

Glad you're happy with it Mora:thumbup: You will continue to be impressed with Kershaw's value if you continue to test different models.

I'm really glad you posted. Now I can read posts of yours someplace other than that OTHER forum;)

Welcome!

Jon
