Today I stopped by my Dick's Spoting Goods store to look at the Kershaw Needs Work. When I got there I found out they were out.:( I did, however, spot the Leek and asked to try it. It was smooth, sharp, and a good fit in my hand( I wish the handle was a little beefier, but what can I say). I liked it so much, I bought it. The guy behind the counter said the one in the counter I was trying was the last one left, so I got it at a 10% discount. I don't mind. It was in good condition.
So when I got home I tried cutting wood, string, plastic, paper, and whatever you could think of. And I have yet to find anything it can't cut well. Plus you feel better knowing it's America. Mine was made in October of 08.
Kershaw has proven their worth.

congrats of your first kershaw! it wil,l be one of many to come.

i got my friend a leek to replace the pos he was using and he loves it,

Congrats. The great thing about the Leek is the all the variations to try out. The S30V/G10 Leeks are worth a look. Also, if you like the Leek, give the OD-1 a try.

The Leek is a very fun little knife, great choice. Mine has given me several years of reliable service now.

If you like your Leek but wish the handle was a bit beefier, pick up a Shallot next ;)
