Fantastic, Eric...and Welcome:)

The 15" AK is a fine do-it-all chopper. Big enough to get work done, but small enough to pack along most places. Errrr...you do know that you'll have to get both an 18" AK for serious wood work and a 12" AK for a dedicated camp knife, right? Of course, then you'll need a Pen Knife to compliment the 12" AK (ya know, so that you have a choice). Also, that 18"er just won't feel quite right when it comes to really serious wood cutting...so you'll have to pick up a 20" AK..or maybe a 22" Ganga Ram Special. Then if you get the GRS, you're going to need the 18" version to compare the two. Well, if you're going to get an 18" GRS, then you owe it to yourself to get an 18" YCS.
I haven't even touched on all the non-khuks that you'll have to have.

It's a sickness...in a good way:D

Welcome, friend:)

believe me I would have taken them all had I had the money but funds are tight right now and it already took a while to decide on this one and find the $. but I am getting a second job in the winter, and i have had my eye on one of those chitlangi bowies or perhaps a 20" Kobra

I've resisted the virus amazingly well - because the two HI khuks I have are both amazing blades. I couldn't be happier with how well the 16 1/2" WWII and the 18" AK perform for their different roles.

But. But I do see, now, that I need something in the 12" range, as a camp knife. Just saying ...
