Swamp Rat ... Rodent Waki. Is this a good start? 27" overall.
 
Black micarta on a black blade. This weapon will have a nice kydex sleeping bag that will be bolted to my bed frame.


LOL... I still "got it" ... referring to my knife as "this weapon"... those drill sergeants are good:D

Like a spike? Or some fantasy recurve? :barf: Without the forward talon hole (required to attach the holy terror) I can't imagine a pommel accessory being cool. But I'm easily impressed and not very imaginative. :)

Yes, you made a good choice for a start. It may not be heavily embellished or traditional looking, but it is going to be a most functional short sword. My AK-47 is quite handy. It is like your Waki, only better...
 
Thats a nice looking blade, not silly big but big enough to get a good swing on it.

My AK should be heading its way back from Kiahs trouser shop soon.
I'm totally itching to get a chopping sesh on the go :D
