PICT0478.jpgI finished this a couple of days ago.

8 3/4 overall length, 4 3/8 blade length
3/32" ATS34 treated by Paul Bos
Black Canvas Micarta Handles w/ red liner
Nickel Silver Pins

I use a kitchen knife with my index finger on the blade, hence the shorter handle, which fits perfectly to my pinkie. I'm giving this to a guy who is an excellent cook (but a better friend) so he can offer up his observations, too.

I look forward to any comments/criticisms you all may see with this knife.

Thanks!

Nice knife for the kitchen. I have an antique henckels with a sharp point like that and they are great. Good job.

Now that is a sweet looking blade. I like the well defined point. It'll work great for cleaning out peppers like jalapenos, etc. as well as many other fine tasks. I like it a lot. I've got a sweet spot for kitchen knives and can't find the perfect paring knife to save my life. I love that blade!

What material did you use for the liner out of curiosity. I like that look.

thats awsome! Not too thick of a handle too :) Nice Job

I do a lot of cooking....that looks like a very clean functional knife...however I like a little bigger handle. Looks like a Sabatier design.
