Hey!! I seen that knife somewhere before?????? For Jerry next suprise will be a Bowie. We also got his forge about 75% completed. Well one of this days I'll have my shop to myself. Almost got Joe(CHISEL) out, his got a forge now and brand new KMG ( happyer than a pig in SH!T with it), all I have to do now is talk him into build a press.:D :D :D Now Jerry has Santa bring him a new KMG, so it looks like I'll be stuck with him for awhile.;) ;) ;) :D

Very nice knife. It looks like a really good worker. George, I should have my gas forge set up in about 2 weeks. Then maybe i'll start bugging you.:D

Jerry that's great! If you hadn't said it was your first knife, no one would know. I like the scales, often we get too caught up in fancy-shmancy burls and forget the beauty of simple straight grain. Looks very comfortable, a fine worker. Are you going to carry it?

Looks great. Definitely a lot better than my firs.t And second for that matter. :)

But yeah, definitely keep your first. I can already see improvements and I only have four done(and number 5 sitting here waiting for me to get off my butt and handrub the blade. :)

Nice grind line, they are nice and straight and I like the rounded shoulders.I bet it is on your blood now!!

Very Nice!!!!!!!
Now go bug George some more and make another;)
and another;)
and another;)
But be careful and don't get hooked to bad as if you do you will never know where to stop:eek:
and make them untill you can't figure out a way to anymore when you are old and gray.

we should be able to add sound to our emotions...:p :p :p :barf:
where's Tim Herman when we need him :p

That is a fantastic first knife. It is a fantastic knife. You must have a natural ability. I Like natural handle materials. If someone is teaching you stick with them. They are steering you in the right direction.
My first knife was very poor.

What a little cutie! You're doing a spectacular job for your first shot at this! Looks like a perfect skinner.
