So I had the privilege to attend knife making class with Gil Hibben and his son Wes. I went down there to Kentucky with my father as well and he made knife as well. So with Gil's and Wes's help we made two knives and I'm hooked ! I may sell my knife collection and will start buying equipment to start making knives :D
We where also making Knife sheaths with Derek H. supervision :D (will post pictures of that later)
Without further ado ...: ( I made the bowie my father made the Dagger and than he was helping me with the bowie)

Well I just have to say, thats" impressive". You and your Dad did fine work there. Look forward to more of your work, you and your father. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Keith

Nice work! Did you use a mill to make the fuller in the blade? It looks great

Thanks guys:) I don't have any equipment to start my self yet :) And yes the fuller was done on the mill;)

Obviously Gil is a great teacher and you both learn quickly. I wish that I could have gotten to know him while he was in Branson. :)He might have taken years off of my learning curve.

Very nicely done.

Thanks for posting.

Gary

Yes there is a lot to learn in his class, I'm sure any knife maker would take something from it.
