My concept for this knife was a pocketable coffin handle Bowie. Over three months in the making, I'm declaring it done (warts and all).
Steel: Aldo's 1084 1.5x.25" heat treated in Dick's Indian George forge, quenched in peanut oil and tempered in Mrs. Dick's kitchen oven
Handle: Burl Source's Free for first time knifemakers Walnut finished with CA and lined with black liners.
Blade is convex ground and the clip is sharp for about an inch. At a quarter inch, its a heavy little brute.
Had a little epoxy disaster!
Thoughts, opinions, advice and constructive criticisms welcome!
