I just came back from the Contemporary Metal Works Expo in Bellevue, Washington.
I've never seen any custom knives up close, and to see the knives and their makers was awesome. I got to meet some nice people, like Bob Lum, Jess Horn, Paul Fox, and many others. I was surprised how down to earth everyone was.
For all of you other artists out there who couldn't make it to this show, I'd really love it if you could come next year.
To the people who worked hard to organize the event, I thank you for making my first show a great one.

Sincerely,
Mitch

Mitch,
Glad you enjoyed it. I hope it is the first of many that you will enjoy and the beginning of many new friendships.

This was my first show also. It was alot smaller than I expected, but what it lacked in quantity it more than made up for in quality. To look at these knives in a magazine is one thing, but to see them in person is amazing. Some of the things they can do with a piece of steel is incredible! My only regret was being short of cash....I must save up for the Eugene show.
