Looks nice and sharp! I bet it works great :thumbsup: Next time maybe try bringing that grind up a bit and contouring the handles :) I've never made a knife so feel free to disregard my opinion
 
Looks like a nice kitchen knife. So, what is it?

Most of my kitchen cutting is done with a smaller knife, although I have an assortment. I wouldn't concern myself with the finish. Keep it sharp. Use it.

Have you ever tried a cork belt with aluminum oxide polishing compound?

Okay, what you do is get a 400 or 600 grit cork belt and hold a piece of scrap mild steel against it for about 10 minutes to break it in. Then hit it with the polishing compound and finish grind your blade. You will get an excellent finish and the belt will last you for years!

Okay, is that for the entire knife or just the bevel
 
Just the bevels.
Do it as a finishing step before HT and then again after HT. Just remember to keep cooling the blade after HT though.
