This is the first knife I've made with a 2x72. She came out pretty good. Sad I have to ship it off in a couple days :(

This one was stock removal from a 1/4 x 2 x 14 inch length of 5160. Handle is curly maple, stained black, and finished with Forby's tung oil finish.

Working on the leather sheath now.

Feedback and comments are welcome.

I'll admit this was my first full production knife. I've done a few more simple knives that were mostly experiments and done on a 4x36. I told a friend that I was getting into knifemaking and he asked for a viking seax, so this is the design I came up with. It taught me a lot. It hardened just under 60hrc, and chopped a bunch of hickory I had with no issues, and passes the paper test. And I learned how to make a sheath, which given the time and effort it takes, I think I may outsource that task for future builds haha.

Looks great. If I can nitpick, I don't like how the edge curves at the heel of the blade.
