Hello, All!

So here is the (short) story about how I got my first knife. I was about 9 or 10 years old when I found an old pocket knife in Grandma's garage, I showed her the knife, she said that that was my grandpa's (who I never met). So she let me hold on to the knife, and I still have to this day.

There it is! I've had it for a long time, and carried it for years. I never did sharpen it though.

Here is a close up of it.

Since I am doing this picture of my first knife, I will go ahead and take the picture of the knife that my dad gave me when I was 14 years. This knife happens to be my dad's very first knife.

It's an old Camillus knife for Cub Scouts

Here is the blade.

And a close up.

I hope you enjoyed looking at the picture of these old knives, and feel free to post some pics of your first knife!

Thanks,

~Ben
