My first attempt at knife making, aebl steel and canvas micarta, been fun so far and I have 2 more going, very exciting so far, amazing stress reliever, but im sure there will be times where it will be the opposite

AEB-L is very good steel, and you can never go wrong with micarta. I like the design of your knife, and the kydex looks good too.

I watch knife making videos quite a bit, but personally learn better trying to do it myself. But I agree, the tips and time saving advice you can get from youtube is great. Every once and a while I will find one worth bookmarking and reference it multiple times.
