My first knife

Hi,
because i'm really proud of it, i'd like to show you pictures of my first knife. :D

It' s filed by hand from a piece of 1.2842
Length over all: 180mm
Blade-Length: 97mm
Blade-width: 27 mm
Blade ~3mm

beeing tempered to about 58 HRC

Handle: red fiber, ebony, linseed oil

Do you have any suggestions?

Hello Tinbasher,

the sheet was also made by me. I'm a little unsatisfied with it, but the next will be better. I hope so ... :)

I like that blade a lot and the sheath isn`t worse either! :D

BTW don`t you think it`s a bit unfair showing such a "first"!? :confused: :mad:

Guess I`ll NEVER ever start with MY 1st, now!!! ;) :D

Wow, that's one fine looking knife! Craftsmanship, style and utility–great work. I'd be pretty darn proud if my first knife project was to come out so well.
