my first knives --feedback welcome

Wow, please tell me you have lots of experience crafting wood and metal. Those don't look like the "first" of anything I have ever made! They look great! I will be excited if my first one comes out half as nice

Did you grind the blades or are they kit blades?

I think the front edge of the scales should have a shape and taper to them,other than that they look pretty good.:thumbup:

Good looking knives for your first. Tell us a little about what type of steel you used and
how the blades were made.

I bought the blades. One was from Texas knife and the Damascus was from eBay. That makes sense about the front handle.

Well you done a good clean job on them both i like the top one the way it's rounded to feel comfy in the hand. Keep at it before you know it you will be making them from scratch.
