Hello,

I am Igor Kampman from the Netherlands and i started forging 4 months ago, built a small workshop at the back of my house and every time when i have some free time you can find me there, so u can say that the forging virus hit me!
In the other day's of the week i tattoo, artfart and bushcraft for a living.
I forge oldschool by hand on a forge with a coal fire, i have a small beltgrinder and some hamers, i am here to learn and meet other knife freaks where i can talk and learn from.
My intensions are to make nice rustic working knives to use in the field or forest, here i show u some of the first knives i have been making and hope you like them?
Take care all the best Igor.

Congrats on forging, I think you nailed the working knives style.
Looks like you're forging damascus as well, what steel mix ?
Welcome and Thanks for sharing, Igor. :)

Thanx Doug:)
I mix a copple of steels and testing and trying out like: 15N20 with O2, L6 and O2 and just started using wired cables and weld them together to make a damascus and love to use CM60 RVS, has a nice strong edge, little harder to forge with the hammer but you cannot go wrong with it;)
