Below are my first two attempts at making kydex sheaths. It really was not all that hard, but I do have a lot of time in finishing the edges of the sheaths. I would like to find some of the acu or camoflage kydex somewhere. I am pretty happy with the results.:) I never really loved the meaner before, but now that I have a sheath and I am carrying it, I have a whole new appreciation for it. It's like I have a new knife. I need to thank EasterHam 77 for some kydex help he gave me. I hope the pictures turn out ok.

GREAT looking sheaths! I really mean that - I like both of them a lot! Awesome job! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Great job - I can't believe it's your first attempt! :eek::thumbup:

Excellent work!

Easterham is good with kydex. I have seen his sheaths. You are a fast learner. Those sheaths are excellent.

Thanks for the encouraging comments. It really does add another level of enjoyment to collecting knives when you can make your own sheaths for them. Now if I could just learn to sharpen better.:o

very very nice if i could get mine looking that good. i think i still hurry to much.

I am kicking my self. I almost bought the whole kit. Press, heat gun, arbor press, all the punches etc. I priced it, and decided against it. I then blew like 2x as much on a sword axe combo. I really wish I had done it, and learned to make sheaths years ago.
